you can’t leave!

I work in the casino industry. I apparently work in the worst one you can in our county. I mean it's lousy but I didn't realize how bad it really is. I work in security if you will We are part time but always hit full time hours only make basic pay unless you're a dealer or server (we're not a tribal casino). I pick up extra shifts as our department has 4 people in it. Because one co worker was a pretentious jerk and the other has alot of stuff going on. I understand their problem I was not mad bout them not taking extra shifts but the manager leaving early or just not wanting is kinda irritating Well my department gets written up and punished if the floor (dealers etc) don't do their jobs correctly. Well the pretentious coworker rage quit when the manager told him he had to stop calling out as he's not past his 90 day probation. But that didn't matter to me I put my two weeks in. So now they gotta hire and train 2 people.

The general manager decided to ask my boss how the hiring was going. My manager has one person hired just waiting for his gaming license to go through. But none of the people he interviewed were cutting it.

After the general manager got off the phone with my manager he said I can't leave then (kinda joking but they are upset because it'll take 3 weeks to train them completely) but maybe if you actually treated your employees like humans. Paid them decently for their efforts and maybe stopped saying “we're classified as part time” but always hit full time hours as a way to try and avoid over time pay but then get made when over time happens.

But then in the same turn after saying you can't lose a good employee like me whos willing to always work and learn but wanna nitpick my report, talk to me like I'm an idiot even though I'm not the one who set anything up and I'm not the one who keeps forgetting how to do their job ? Like you think I care enough about this place I got 3 days left and honestly I don't have to work them I could just not show up. What are you going to do fire me?? Do it
