Project manager had a complete meltdown today.
She’s cutting corners because she is under pressure. I tried to explain to her a system related issue, she kept asking if it was reported to X person.
Obviously, X cannot fix it as the issue is linked to configuration and I’m waiting for Y to confirm, and I told her that I did speak to X but he was busy and I’m waiting for Y as Y will go to X if necessary. Her reply in front of my team “you sit on your ass all day, get off it and go find out”.
I told her not to speak to me like that, and that she released the system to us bypassing QA and it’s not my responsibility to run after resources when I escalate a possible risk to her impacting client sign off.
She immediately started sulking after I told her to back off.
Not sure if I should report her for being rude to me I front of my team?
