Univeral Basic Income should be a right, not a radical idea. In the 50's, the father worked at the factory full time, mom stayed home with 2-3 kids. They where home owners, bought the newest car every few years, could go on a good family vacation at least once a year, and sending all three of your kids to college was affordable.
Those jobs those fathers worked have been outsourced from the country or to machines. Companies need less workers while the owners makes all the profit. Tax the rich more because they should not be hoarding all the wealth when it took all of us to get here. And grant everybody the security of basic necessities in life. Watch Healthcare cost go down. Watch quality of life increase. Look how advance we became in a generation because they could go back to school. I have more faith in a society where many people have opportunities to advance us vs a select few who just inherited family wealth and are completely disconnected from reality.
But that kind of thinking is radical!!
