Hey, I'm pretty young—but not too young to be disillusioned. I decided to quit my internship at a large non-profit a while back and wanted to share my experiences in case it could encourage someone else to recognize their worth and move on to something better.
To be honest, a few weeks out, and I'm not positive if I'm happier for it mainly because the switch required me to go back home to California, and I was much happier in New York. However, I am happy that I quit the internship because I felt mistreated and dismal that something pure like a non-profit could have questionable tactics and materialistic ends.
