12 hour shifts

Since 2020 I’ve been stuck working 12 hour shifts and weekends sometimes. I’ve been a pushover from time to time and kept quiet but I’m over it. I’ve been working 8 hour shifts since the start of this year but in the past when I’ve left after my 8-hour shift my supervisor has talked about how we’re so busy and he would stay late if he could but he’s on salary so he doesn’t get paid for it. What’s a good comeback for that? Like this dude knew what he was signing up for when he accepted plant supervisor! I’m honestly done and when he sees I leave early he brings up his son working the 12 hours overnight. He made his son shift lead and like I said before, he knew what he signed up for when he accepted the pay raise and title! I’m just a trainer. What’s…

What’s a good comeback if my supervisor complains of me leaving after my shift (which he’s done before) and bringing up how his son works later.
