I really want to quit my job
I feel underpaid, overworked and out of gas. I'm continually working way more hours than I ever wanted to with this job, and being shortstaffed isn't helping any of it. The big worries are that one, I'll be disappointing my family- my grandparents think it's grand that I'm getting so much work, and were proud of me when I took the job. My mother insists I should have another job lined up before I quit- which I know is reasonable, just hard to do with my hours. The other worry is of course financial. I do have what I consider to be a good chunk of change saved, and could probably float along for six months, barring catastrophe. Any thoughts?
It just occurred to me, regardless of the ridiculous increase in gas prices recently, why aren’t a lot them already being paid $20+ an hour? If your gas station is anywhere but buttfuck nowhere, it’s going to have people coming in and out of it nonstop especially if it’s near a highway or main road. I have rarely ever seen a gas station anywhere mid day without a few cars at it filling up their tanks. So what the fuck is the actual deal with that oh right it’s greed
This feels good!?

Okay that works, it's only temporary.. no big deal. Right? Well or some reason today none of the toilets would flush.. it is bad enough that there are only 4 toilets for each gender for a facility of about 300 employees but now we don't have any working toilets and they removed the portable toilets last week. For some reason they thought it was acceptable to stay open for business as usual… I feel bad for whoever had to clean up but I just used the toilet anyway after holding a…
I fu****g LOVE calling out
For some reason I always felt regret before doing it leading up to making the call. But then after words. Pure fucking freedom. Best feeling in the world to hug my pillow and not have to get up at 530 in the morning and hurry up to eat rush there with the threat of clocking in 2 min late looming. Lol. I'm still free for now, but money is running out. Judge me.
In other countries I hear people get 1 month to 2 months of vacation time a year whereas most jobs in America give you a measely 1 to 2 weeks a year.
