I work at a pharmacy making 16$ an hour. The store I work out is closing, and my manager has been having me work 40-hour weeks, with mostly just me in the front of the store and with the pharmacist in the pharmacy. I've been training in the pharmacy its been just me and the pharmacist, we have a backlog of prescriptions of over a hundred. Literally killing myself working, almost breaking down sometimes, but holding it barely together. A woman named Karen could tell I was hurting and struggling, seeing me disoriented, exhausted, and shaking so she asked what she could do to help. She really wanted to help me, but I couldn't tell her to call HR or talk to the manager because being the only other person in the store working full-time not as a manager they would know it was me. They claim they don't clean because of “covid,” but in reality, they have a shortage of staff due to not wanting to pay their labor enough to attract workers. As long as there are enough guests who believe it's “because of covid,” they can continue charging $200, providing less service, and exploiting only desperate maids willing to work at poverty levels.

Bascially what the title says. Since I handed my resignation, I was made to come to the main office in NY at my own expense just to be ignored while I ve been seating right next to them, have my resignation letter forwarded to other employees (it got shown to me by another employee who came to me) and all my attempts to have a formal plan and discussion have been ignored. No plan, nothing …. I had the pleasure to learn who I d have to train on my very specific position (I m the only person int the company doing my job for the Americas office) this friday by a colleague coming to me saying he s been told I ll train him next week … I think the worst was having people overseas in other departments than mine come to me and ask me about my resignation…
