I tendered my resignation. After everything that I had done to protect the guy, he still refused to quit with me, even though that was the plan. In any case, my now former employer is saying they're going to keep my final paycheck. I've called the Department of Labor but haven't been able to get through, so I left a message. I'm going to try again tomorrow. I've called several attorneys but none of them have been keen on helping me. If anyone has advice on that front, I'll take it. I'm owed quite a bit of money, especially since I looked at my employee documents and saw that I'm listed as not overtime exempt and they were not paying me overtime at all. Just thought I'd give a brief update since so many people were kind enough to comment. Thanks, guys.
