Hey, so I wanted to post a link to a song snippet on my Tik Tok page and I want you guys to check it out. It's called “I'm Not Okay.” Off my upcoming mixtape called “Heaven Or Hell”. It's a song I think yall can relate to. It's about someone tired of working a 9 to 5 getting nowhere and forcing themselves to be okay for the sake of survival even though deep down they feel ok at all. To be honest, the song isn't studio quality. I live in Florida and right now, I can't afford to do too much besides work paycheck to paycheck and pay bills. But I always dreamed of being an artist that would make real music for people going through the struggle in life. I'm not asking you for donations or anything monetarily. I'm just asking for your time in the hopes a…
Month: July 2023
worked in a Kelsey's restaurant in a different city for about a year. I've always been good about my attendance through my working life but this place had pushed me to the limit. It had been a toxic work environment created by the general manager and owner running the restaurant in two different directions and talking crap about each other. And I had even had an arrangement with them for a fixed yet unofficial salary. Basically so I could work overtime and not get paid the overtime pay. That way they would give me more than 40 hours. But after about 6 months working 6 days a week and an entire month even working 7, I wanted five days a week. And defycluld have fulfilled my 50 hours within five days. But my general manager who was very toxic, wouldn't give me 2 days off a week. At the time…
I have been thinking about this alot lately. Im living in Turkey and working in a company based in Turkey. As might some of you know Turkey have one of the most inhumane working hours around the globe, maximum of 45 hours a week. Everything evolves around this, you can only get payed overtime after this is achieved, even after that, it is only if you can. No hourly wage is determined, highly open to elaboration mostly ends up with employer being right. It is already too much having to work for 45 hours in a week, and developed countries with 36 hours of worktime going forward and trying 4 days of work, Turkey only gets worse about the subject as echonomy worsens. Shouldn't we have some sort of globalized syndicate, or something like it that have enough force to provoke employers for better working conditions? Isn't that already a…

Why are we all on this sub?
What is this? Is this literally just a doomscrollfest where we all post about how awful working life is in this world? Don't we already know that? What actually happens in here? What are we going to do? Why don't I see more people asking these questions? I understand the truly overwhelming state of problems people face, I have personally experienced them, and will do so again. It really feels like very few people have any energy to fight, like everything driving any indignant rage either has no guidance, objective, or has no real willpower behind it. I see this in my generation, in the next generation, and it will be in their children too. Does anyone actually want to do something? Do you have ideas about what could be done, if we mobilized this sub? I understand that taking to the streets is both foolish and pointless, but this…
People are struggling all over North America with exorbitant housing costs, and this is considered news? Tone deaf, clueless bit of writing.
Ending Capitalism vs “Peaceful Protests”
I see this far too often that some of want change and are ready to fight for it, but only through peaceful measures. That isn't possible We are not only enslaved by wages and lack of rights, but are told to do things peacefully while they destroy the Earth, separate families, poison our food, hoard housing etc etc etc the list of misdeeds under capitalism is too long. How can you peacefully protest and wait every other year to “vote smarter”? How many petitions do we need to sign so we can have economic freedom? It's clear. They don't want us to have shit. It's easier to keep us oppressed when we're not burning down their city-blocks worth of residential property they don't live in, or us collectively striking on work or labor. It's too easy to bully the kid who's told to just ignore them We have to fight…
