I put in 3 weeks notice on Thursday at my current job. My boss has been underpaying me, the salary for my position is on average $75k, while he paid me $45k. He cried when I told him, said he couldn’t afford anyone else.
My new job is giving me full benefits, doubled my salary, pension, and guaranteed yearly raises. No way I’m passing on that.
The company complained I didn’t give them adequate notice, that they needed a few months. But when I left my last job to work there, they didn’t give me time for notice to my previous boss.
