I work in a residential home with shitty management. I loved working here at the start, but the manager soon began to form a clique with some of the staff and made up senior positions for them, so now we’re stuck in a situation with “too many chiefs not enough Indians”. The place is absolutely ran into the ground and staff have been leaving left right and centre. We’re overworked and treated like slaves, all our incentives have been taken away for overtime. It’s just became the most toxic environment, I’m so glad all my colleagues have had enough, I can’t wait to hand in notice with immediate effect, I’ve been looking for work for the last month and found somewhere closer and more incentives.
