Hi so i just got surgery for my ruptured achilles. I was hurt at work by a metal cart that fell down on the back of my leg which crushed and ruptured my achilles. This was back in September 2021. I know i have about 6 weeks to 6 months to recover, but just wondering what would be the best way to go about my case since i felt disrespected that my boss and supervisors basically removed me from all company chats and communication with them except for the human resources worker. I really believe the cart was faulty with bad wheels since the cart rose up and fell one and i remember a few times when the wheels and cart brakes did not work properly when pushing and pulling the carts in the warehouse. I cant get pain and suffering since its a workers comp case but wondering the best course of action since i do not want to work for them ever again. Thanks for the help!
