Anyone tune into Jerome Powell’s speech yesterday? I find it mind boggling that he said they need to curb wage growth rather than corporate greed. It is a proven fact corporations are looking to pay less for more work to increase profit. They are at 70yr high profit margins yet somehow WAGE GROWTH (which doesnt even keep up with inflation!!) is a bigger factor. Union workers literally begging for sick days while the company they work for lists record profits is the strangest thing to me. Why are more ppl not talking about this? If they are talking why does it get no traction? CORPORATE GREED DRIVES INFLATION NOT PEOPLE TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING
