Anyone else work in a shithole without any respect for breaks? I work at subway in one country in europe and my job doesnt respect breaks at all and god knows how much i want to quit but cant afford to. The most disgusting thing to happen was this week when i was still eating my sandwich (it had been 9 minutes since i sat down) and my boss told me oh youre ready, you can go do xyz. Lunch is already the only break we get, be the shift 4 or 10 hours long :-/ we stand, walk, reach for and carry stuff aaalll day but still. Even my trainer told me the lunch is “around 15 mins”. Wtf?
