After working months with a short staff in the deli department and no recognition for my hard work I finally walked out. And when I say short staff, I mean I was the only staff during certain times. This day happened to be one of those times and it was busy. As I was making 14 online order just after clearing the line, I accidentally dropped the metal tray for the toaster… without hesitation the deli manager tells me that I am not going to break shit and that I should go home. I left without a word but i won't be back. There are so many more reasons why I quit but I should've done this awhile back. Never thought I'd be disrespected when I work so hard to avoid that. I cant tell anyone what to do but I recommend to just quit a shitty job then let it slowly make you go insane.
