Workplace PTSD

I haven't seen a lot of this, so I don't know if I'm the odd one out here or if people just don't talk about it, but I'm pretty sure I've got some bad PTSD from my old job. I was given some money today for a girls trip I'm taking and it's an older hundred dollar bill. It doesn't have that blue coloring or that like holographic strip on it. The place I used to work at had a new safe. You fed money into it like a vending machine, and it wouldn't accept those older bills. It thought they were fake.

There were a couple of times where I'd have to accept an older bill and I'd get yelled at for it because the machine wouldn't take it.

So now after just seeing this bill and thinking about how I'm going to have to break it somewhere, I've sat in my bed for the past 30 minutes shaking and crying like I've just seen the ghosts of war. I feel pretty dumb about it, but it's not like I can control it.

I'm better now, but I'll definitely be feeling the after effects for a while.

This isn't the only case though, there's other things that trigger me for different memories or scenarios. I'm working on getting help for it lol.

Does anyone else get like this? Lol
