I am scared, but holy fuck a lot of my stress is gone.
I was there for two months. It's an industry I'm new to, but operational management experience was carrying over from previous positions.
My boss was a huge dick – normal training would be along the lines of, “This is what we do, here's how, and here's why, and if you have trouble, let me know” but all I ever got when I asked questions was, “I don't know, what do you think? You're the ops manager, how would you do it?”
Edit: To add, he'll criticize my every decision and not tell me what he would have done differently. Nothing I do is good enough, to the point where I question why I'm even there.
The fuck? Do you know how much anxiety that gives me? Fuck that place.
