Performance reviews are just a way companies can make you feel like you’re not doing enough…

I just had a review and noticed that even though I’ve been working real hard to do everything the correct way and strived to perform well, their response to everything was “well you’re doing abc but we really think you should be doing xyz”. They would nitpick and bring up very small meaningless things and act like it was hindering my progress. Fuck corporations
