nothing aggravates me more than when servers & people in general get mad when people don’t tip 25-30% of their bill. i try to keep my mouth shut bc it’s a sensitive topic to some & i have friends in the restaurant industry but when they complain about people not tipping, i don’t feel bad for them at all. like why are you mad at the customers bc you only get paid $2.17? you’re mad at the wrong person.. if my friends wouldn’t judge me for it, i would never tip. i think it’s ridiculous. leave it to the USA to normalize capitalism & big corporations profiting while the working class is expected to pick up the slack in the form of paying 20% more than a bill to ensure that servers get paid a living wage.
