My boss got a DUI and now I’m going to have to pick up his jobs too

I work as a seasonal Maintenance assistant for a company and I essentially have two bosses directly above me. One boss is the maintenance guy that I work with and the other is the maintenance coordinator. I'm not nearly as qualified as the maintenance guy. But he just got a DUI and can no longer be insured to drive the work vehicles. So they fired him. He was paid $25/hour while I get $15/hour. I spoke to him before they let him go and he said that the coordinator vouched for me that I could handle his jobs. How do I negotiate a raise? They clearly need me but I'm also not even close to qualified to do his job. I'm basically just an untrained groundskeeper. What are my options?
