I'm a part time worker at a pizza shop franchise (national one too). I work 30 hrs a week (I'm in highschool so right now in the summer it's more like 36) and mostly do closing shifts and have some tendencies that may not be preferable to the higher ups. I like to give out free drinks pretty much all the time just cause I don't wanna hassle ringing you up. If you ask to not pay for a pizza I might do it cause I honestly don't give a fuck. If I knew I would get a better tip by wasting company money I'll do it. We close at 11 which usually means you know taking orders till 11 but I am out the door at 11 which pisses off my bosses to a hilarious extent. My boss also has this mentality that we must 100 percent of the time be working and doing something work related which I won't do mostly cause when this job is busy it's kinda fucked and I'm not gonna fucking hold up my time to get a breather so I can fold boxes or some shit. Not gonna lie to you either if you're an asshole on the phone that pep stuffed crust just became a thin and that ultimate pepperoni is 5 salami slices now. I'm a wageslave and I'm pretty sure that's not an excuse to be a massive asshole to the company but you know, come and stop me.
