So my job almost fired me yesterday for being too quiet, not seeming interested, not asking questions and a bunch of other bullshit.
For context, I work as a plumbing apprentice, and I worked at this one company for 3 months but they made you buy your own work van which I was unable to do. So I switched to the company I'm at currently since they provide the van for you.
I've been here a month and yesterday they sat me down to tell me that they don't think it's going to work out because I don't “fit their culture” and that they're removing me from the program.
Apparently all the people I've been riding with for training have been filling out reports on the shit mentioned at the top of the post. I managed to convince them to give me another week to prove myself but I'm still super confused at wtf I did wrong. Now I feel insecure in my job and anxious and stressed due to that, all because of dumb shit like being too quiet. Rant over.
Anyway, what are the most bullshit reasons that you've been fired or almost fired over?
