I was speechless. I thought to myself, “Did you really just say that? They are people. People with feelings and goals and their own personal struggles. You are the cockroach. You managed to crawl your way into this sweet gig and now you look down on everyone as scum.” I’m so tired of this repeating pattern in my career and in the United States as a whole. I’m so sick of working under narcissists and literal psychopaths.
