So my fiancé is a dental assistant and deals with a lot of fast paced stuff which she’s good with only she has had ankle surgery so everything is just a bit harder on her.
She’s young (22) and is very thin and younger than her co-workers, huge age gap she is a very nice person and very genuine but it comes with some issues gaining respect from people. I feel she’s a little bit of a pushover. But doesn’t know how to change, anyway.
She has issues at work just communicating and getting along with others and comes home balling her eyes out.
Anyway
She has an appointment that was last minute today at 6pm but was told by the secondary manger (which she has problems with) that she couldn’t leave today and had to call reschedule when my fiancé told her last week prior..
I go down and ask to speak with management speak with secondary manager) kindly address the situation and reminded her that we had an urgent appointment today at the end of the day around 6pm when the office she works at closes at 7pm. She says she’s already in the back rescheduling the appointment. I tell her to give me the number to your hr department and she tells me to leave and refuses to give me the number. Her doctor who would otherwise have no issue with this wasn’t there and i’m mind boggled because i’m having to re asses my fiancés health because the manager wants to feel a certain way. I walk out, and feel that I probably could’ve done this a better way instead of being ruckus to her PLACE OF WORK. Embarrassed.
