Insane story/situation. DOL has proven to be useless and I don’t know what else to do.

So to preface I guess. I had been working at a gas station kiosk for about 8 months. I was praised for my work by the previous operations manager. I really tried hard and exceeded expectations for this job. I was promised promotions and never had a single complaint about my performance. When we lost employees from that store, I got my girlfriend a job there and her performance was the same. With the exception of her not being able to do the outside trash because of her OCD, something I had discussed with the manager and was deemed okay. When we lost employees from that store, I got my girlfriend a job there and her performance was the same. With the exception of her not being able to do the outside trash because of her OCD, something I had discussed with the manager and was deemed okay. And then that manager quit and everything went to shit.

A regular employee who was not fit to be a manager took over this position. I knew him from when I first started working there and he would always be there when I came in for my afternoon shift with a female employee. He worked at another store in a different city(this chain has over 100 different stores in the state) When the female employee told him she was moving to another state , I witnessed him hugging her extra long to say goodbye and when she got back in the office, she kind of giggled and was like “he really likes me” obviously not returning the affection but just being nice. And just recently I saw a photo album with 52 pictures of her on this guy's Facebook, a lot of which taken without her noticing and while at work. A lot of them featured them hugging and her looking uncomfortable, also on store property. And a lot were taken of them hanging out and him taking her out to dinner outside of work.

Flash forward to recently. It was another employee, my girlfriend, and I working there. The other employee got fired so I had to work more hours. I had been working 7am-6pm shifts to make up for this some since my girlfriend has limited availability. Since my girlfriend couldn't work this day, the guy who took over for the manager who quit asked me to stay until 6 to which I said no problem. I told a worker fixing the gas pumps when it got around 5:30 that I was getting off at 6 but that I would wait for him to finish. Then I got a call from the owner saying I have to stay until 9pm(we close at 8) or I'm fired. I said I agreed to stay until 6 so I guess you're firing me.

When I was fired, he got the woman who I mentioned previously and one of her friends to take over while my girlfriend still working there. During that week, the tobacco order for the store had not been made nor any of the beverages we received stocked, so my girlfriend did this when no one had trained her how to make the list and I told her. The new employees left notes saying the trash needs to be done every shift, signed with the new “manager” name. Since she can't do the trash because of her mental condition, something I've made them aware of, I saw this as the beginning steps of them trying to get rid of her to allow the employee and her friend to take over the store and hours and I was right. By the end of this week, after one week of them working there, the employee that I mentioned he's obsessed with was promoted to “shift manager”. I worked there over 6 months going above and beyond being praised by him and the other manager and never received such a promotion.

I tried to resolve this cordially at first, asking if we could figure this out and get them to come to a compromise since I had discussed it with him previously and I felt my girlfriend was being treated unfairly. He wouldn't respond, and I eventually kind of blew him up confronting him about his weird creepy behavior with this employee and obvious favoritism. Shortly after, my girlfriend was taken off the schedule this week and the new “manager” sent her a text claiming that my “rants” were all hearsay and rumors and that he was going to review “performance” and decide whether or not to keep her. Of course we just got a text today saying she was no longer employed. He said he was reviewing performance of his “eye witness” and the cameras without “hearsay” so he looked for little things she did wrong or just made shit up as the reason. Remember I mentioned my girlfriend had made the tobacco order and the “shift manager” didn't even know how to.

I've tried to resolve this with the company and DOL. Both have proven to be useless. I have screenshots of that creepy photo album and a picture of where he blew up and outlet fixing it while I was in the very small kiosk with him. Also screenshots of flirtatious comments he left on her Facebook posts(not responded to of course lmao). Basically everything I need to prove my claims are not hearsay. If anyone here could provide more ideas I'd be so appreciative. Sorry if this post is kind of a mess just tried to explain everything.
