i'm a cashier at a food place, is it normal or even legal that they expect the register to be over by a lot every day? The other cashier who's been working there for years is constantly annoyed that I give the right change every time and said she always tries to short a quarter or dime and never gives pennies. They also have us charge every drink as a large drink, which is more expensive and I only do when someone's watching. Edit: yes I'm quitting in less than two weeks
