I was given a 12 month contract initially, with a “strong likelihood of conversion” to full time, was told last month they were cutting me loose after 6 months for “scope changes”.
Well idk what the f*** scope they are talking about because I'm certainly not lacking any work to do, and now I see they posted my position for a full time hire on Indeed, without even consulting with me or giving me the chance to go for it. This place has been shady and back-stabby since the beginning so I'm not surprised. I wanted to apply out of pettiness but I just hate this place so much lol.
P.S., I was told that I was not being let go for any performance-based reasons, that “they are very happy with the work I've been doing”. True because one of my projects is getting a lot of positive feedback and eyes on it from the client's higher ups. I'm so sick of my industry…
