Anyone else found “Career fairs” in their universities pathetic and dehumanizing?

All these students dressed “professionally,” standing in a long line with their[products] printed resumes[flyers] in hand. Everyone waiting for a chance to talk to company representatives who don't care about 99% them. I don't know if it's just me, but I have always seen it as a modern-day slave market. I was once brainwahsed enough to attend one of those to “network,” and it was one of the most embarrassing things I have ever witnessed. Just the number of desperate college kids standing in often 50+ person long lines at company booths saddened me.
