Interesting words here

For the past month, my grandmother's health has been declining and I've been the one to care for her leaving me stressed beyond words while having a new job. It's become commonplace for me to say I want to blow my brains out while I work, and today I had a coworker just walk up in front of me and start feeling my waistband saying “Where are your weapons” (I don't recall exactly what words he used but that's close enough to get the point across) then said, “you're scaring the girls with all this talk of blowing your brains out” (Not sure of exact words again but you get the point). Later he stopped me and said, “You need to watch what you say here because it's serious.” And after he walked away I said “I'm gonna cut his fucking throat” and then got sent home by my manager…

I've gone over in my head all day what to do.
Do I talk to management about moving me to the night shift, do I try to have a man-to-man and apologize for my behavior, or do I tell management what he did was assault?
