My company refuses to pay overtime no matter how justified it is.
They’ve now threatened with retaliation stating that it’s on record that I’ve labeled unjustified overtime. Which is total bs simply because they want to keep it at 8 hours despite the fact that we have long commutes from work areas back to our hotel for operations and days that can go up to 10 hours.
I sent my manager the law regarding paid travel time and she was not having it.
I have screenshots, texts, voice recordings, and more justification that i worked overtime. They’ve manipulated and bullied me into changing my time sheets to reflect only eight hours.
And now most recently threatened me by saying that my standing in the company has deteriorated.
Well that’s retaliation against the FLSA.
So time to bring it to them
