Pay day was Friday. He lied and said he wouldn’t be back there till Monday (I know he was lying because his employees confirmed he was there throwing wild parties. It’s a restaurant btw) My coworker admitted he never paid him his final check either. So I show up and he claimed he’s not coming back for over an hour. Pretty sure he’s not coming back period. I live in Florida if that helps. But this moron not only pays us under the table (I offered him my information he kept saying he’d “do it later.” He never took any of our info so I know he’s not reporting our income or taking taxes from it) but his checks also bounce a lot. I know this is illegal. He can’t just not pay people. What’s the best course of action? He’s a brand new business.
Oh and in addition the wild parties he throws have had illegal drugs at them, which was the final nail in the coffin for me. Any advice would be appreciated. I’m sick of his antics.
