Fired for “lying” about a customers abusive language!

Name and shame, Fielders Port Noarlunga, South Australia! I was fired today by my boss for apparently lying to them about what a customer said to me over the phone! Earlier this week I had a phone call with a regular customer and was told to inform them that their order would be late by a few days due to staff shortages at the production site. This customer proceeded to use agreesive and abusive language against me which I handled professionally. After the call I let my boss know what was said, so she proceeds to listen to the recorded phone call to see what was said (obviously didn't believe me). I brushed it off until a few minutes later when she tells me that he used appropriate language and didn't swear at me at all, which is definitely not what happened as I heard his foul language quite clearly.…

Later in the week I get a call from the recruitment agency saying that my boss wants to cancel my assignment and fire me for “lying” to her about what the customer said to me!! My 1 month review a few days before the incident was glowing and full of positive feedback and I end up getting fired for something I didn't even do??
