My fiancé works at a trucking company, as the executive assistant. This job has been shit from the start, but things have gotten worse as time goes on. Last night she told me that her boss, who’s desk is right next to hers, put a bell on his desk. Whenever she isn’t within his line of sight, he rings this bell. Not like a little tap, but vigorously until he can see her again. As if she’s a fucking dog!! Why do employers feel the need to dehumanize their employees?? She can’t stand it! Boils my skin!
