took this full-time office job out of desperation even though the pay is insultingly low. everyone advised me it would be a “good career move” to get a start in a new industry after leaving my previous work.
problem is that now i’m overworked, underpaid and horribly miserable.
in the time that i’ve been at this job (about seven months), four people have left the company to go elsewhere.
that means more work for me (because i’m the bottom of the ladder) with absolutely no pay rise or mention of how to handle the extra demands.
it’s blatantly obvious that this workplace cuts corners with spending, wherever possible, so… where did the salaries of four individual workers go?
