Possibly stupid of me, but I said this in a survey about my workplace:

“I find it concerning that there are many weeks I and other contracted part time workers are at work 40 hours or more yet receive no full time benefits. I know this is legal, it just feels unethical. I also dislike that as a contracted worker, you can work full time for weeks or months then suddenly and without explanation have your hours go down significantly. This has led to problems being able to pay my bills some months when I didn't receive much income unexpectedly (this isn't specific to [job] of course, moreso contract work in general). I would very much appreciate holiday pay as a part time employee. I was told upon hiring that I would be receiving holiday pay, even specifically asked for clarification, then only found out I wasn't eligible after Christmas and New Years had passed. Holiday pay helps a lot when there are weeks…
