Imagine being able to get a decent job without experience.

I have two degrees, a bachelor's degree in a scientific field from a top 20 University (Clemson) and an Associate's degree in computer science. I also served in the military (U.S. Marine Corps). I've never worked a job that a 16-year old couldn't get (except the Marine Corps. You can join at 17 with parental consent). The only job experience I have is in restaurants and retail, because that's where I worked through highschool and college due to the fact that they were the only businesses who would hire me. Every “entry-level position” I've tried to apply for requires five years of experience in the field. I've never made more than $12 dollars per hour and have never been offered full-time work. I'm also a straight and white male, so figure that one out. I'd love to get some of that “privilege” every tells me I'm supposed to have. I…
