I started a new job recently. To be honest, I HATE WORK, but so far (only been a handful of days so I proceed with caution) the people are decently nice. One thing that put me off is that it's 8-5. I know I'm a baby but my last jobs were 830-430. They also had an hour lunch like this one. I find it to be such a long day and it is an additional hour out of each day even if it ends up being a nicer environment.
The lady training me is so so nice. So so nice. But the few times I've worked, I always have to ask to leave at 5 and then she checks to see if anything else needs to be done before I go. The other office ladies just get up and go at five but I have to basically ask permission and if she wants something done I have to do it?? She has been amazing and sweet but for some reason I'm still so mad about that. 9 hours is long enough and I can't believe it's expected I stay. At the end of the day I say what I have to say to have a job but I don't care about anyone's buisness lmao.
