Been working my ass off for years to get promoted. Finally was promoted four months ago.
Been stressed about passing this promotion even though I was told it was guaranteed. Then my company went bankrupt, got bought out and last week i was demoted but told to keep doing my role until end of month when I’d be moved back.
Boss thought it best to tell me the truth bc I was anxious. She thought if I knew I was losing the role I wouldn’t be anxious anymore.. Lol anyway
Instead I went to the doctor and have taken the rest of the month off as sick leave due to the stress. Now they are without a manager earlier than they thought bc my boss is a dickhead who told me too early. And I have two more weeks off to do fuck all but whatever makes me happy.
