I work for a West Coast tech company. I’ve experienced an earthquake at the office.
Years back one of my coworkers was frog marched out of the office because he put a camera under the desk next to mine looking for upskirt photos. It was found by an IT guy doing an upgrade.
I was on the bus headed to a site visit to military facility when a disgruntled active duty person shot the place up and killed many.
Last month, while I sat at my desk, a disgruntled ex employee tried to get into my office space but his old ID didn’t work. When that was unsuccessful, he did a drive-by and shot up the place from the outside.
For the last 2 years I did my work excellently from my home office (even won an award).
Now for some reason they want me to come back to the office!?!
