Hi people of antiwork, I'm having some issues with my employer. I work for a non-profit and love my job immensely even if it is only seasonal. It's the career I chose and I do like it. HOWEVER, I was meant to have my direct deposit go in on Friday Sep 23rd and it still isn't in (Tuesday 5pm). I've talked to my boss once and she is out with covid and hasn't gotten back to me the 2 other times I've talked to her to ask what's going on. I finally contacted her boss tonight and am waiting to hear back, but I understand it might not be until tomorrow morning. Do you guys have any tips for me going forward about late compensation? Anyway I can make money out of this because now I'm late on bills and will continue to be also my mileage reimbursement hasn't been given yet either for last month (usually comes about this time of month though). So yeah I'm a little stressed and ticked and would appreciate the help. I live in NYS.
