So there's a retirement planning meeting at my work today with a financial advisor.
And he's describing the market – and said 'there are a lot of people not working right now because of their COVID checks and saved money from the pandemic'.
And I, unmuted on zoom, said 'thats not why'…

But apparently no one could hear it, and I'm glad I wasn't in the actual room because I'm fucking done with that line of thought. Yeah I'm sure the people camping out in the cvs parking lot near my house 'dont want to work because they have enough money saved to live comfortably and go on vacation'. Fuck face.
I also muted and then left the meeting, before I got my boss in trouble.
