How does this make sense?

So I’m closing my tab out after coming to my job to eat and I noticed when tipping 100% ($9.12 tip on a $9.12 tab) the slide says 153.5%. I know what I should tip but if a customer who thinks they’re doing the server justice by sliding over to 20% without thinking about it ends up tipping closer to 10, the only people who benefit are the corporation with a repeat customer on a lower tab, and the same for the customer with a low tab.
