I’ve been at a job for 2 months, someone got fired, and they gave me all of his responsibilities (a lot) with no intention of replacing him—and no raise. He had a different job, but we were on adjacent teams. I’m overloaded and I have hardly heard a thank you. The workplace is toxic and I’m looking for other jobs. But what can I do for now? Is this normal?
