Just sat on hold for two hours waiting for an interview just to be told the position I’m applying for is full.

I had to wake up at the crack of dawn today to sit in queue for a zoom interview for nearly two hours to be told the position I applied for was full and they’d “keep me in mind”. Like, why not just tell me this instead of having me waste my entire morning waiting around for nothing?
