I worked for an insurance agent and chose to leave that job for a better position. When I put in my two weeks on Sept 15, I was told I was terminated immediately and to make sure my timesheet was correct for my last paycheck. I had 3 days in that pay period that were owed but my direct deposit on sept 20 was $22. Of course. I knew immediately my health insurance was deducted. I pay X amount on each pay period. I called my provider and they confirmed my coverage was no longer effective as of sept 30. I found old emails where my boss and her account explained we pay for the month ahead for health insurance, pay in Sept for Oct etc. which is why I originally made double payments when I opted into the insurance.
I forwarded her that thread and asked if I would be receiving a refund. Crickets.
I texted her a week later asking if she got my email. Nothing. Now I no longer have access to my pay stubs on ADP that I did prior to sending the email and confirming it was deducted twice in September. Am I crazy or am I owed a refund on both my Sept health insurance payments??
