Just applied to job as an Implementation Specialist. Nothing fancy or anything, but something I'm qualified for.
Received this email in response:
“Thank you for your interest in the Implementation Specialist position! Congratulations on moving to the next step in the process. We believe in identifying a strong fit between our company and our employees and supporting a culture of creative problem solving and innovation. To that extent, we’d like to ask you to complete a series of assessments that focus on aptitude and personality. We take these assessments seriously and ask that you do the same.
To best prepare, try to eliminate any distractions and have a pencil and paper ready. Part of the assessment is timed and cannot be paused, and you must complete all portions in one sitting. No use of a calculator or any outside sources are allowed. The estimated completion time is 30 minutes.
For the aptitude portion, we strongly encourage you to answer as many questions as possible, as accurately as possible. If you get stumped on a question, it’s best to take an educated guess and move on rather than spend too much time on any one question.
You will be asked to re-take this portion of the assessment in a proctored environment if you are invited to come on-site for an interview.
For the personality portion, please answer these questions based upon how you really feel about yourself in the workplace. There are no right or wrong answers.
We ask that you complete these assessments as soon as possible so we can move forward with your application. Please do your best to complete them within 48 hours of receiving this email, and let us know if you need additional time to complete them. Please note that you will not receive a copy of your results. “
Would love to get everyone's take on this.
