I just got my first two week paycheck and the amount is significantly less than what I thought. I really don’t know how people do this. Thinking about all the people that make even less than this, I wonder how they even survive. It’s shameful feeling like I make enough to survive but actually I can barely afford anything. I have no money left so what am I working for? A roof over my head, ok I’ll accept that but how is this any different than jail? Oh, I get to “relax” on the weekends(Do laundry, grocery shop, chores etc).
