i took a 3 day vacation last week W-F to host my grandmother who lives out of state that i haven’t seen in a year. i got home saturday and suddenly had a headache, my face hurt, and i had a fever of 101.9. i’ve done everything i could since then to bring my fever down but if anything im progressively worse and have no voice currently. my bosses are pissed off because today is the day to turn hours in. (i have to do it by hand, family owned business etc blahblah) ive already instructed my friend/coworker how to do it (literally anyone could do it) and shes fine with it. but my bosses are throwing a fit. in my opinion my bosses wife (Shes literally “HR”) should be collecting hours. im NOT HR and never have been. i do all the employee onboarding and see everyones personal info, social security, bank acc #’s, etc and im literally just an admin/title clerk. this is just the cherry on top of all the things ive had to endure since working at this place for the last 5 mos. My 6month is coming up in november and im hoping with everything that they let me go. I was made fun of for having temporal lobe seizures and been talked to like im a bug. I go there, do my work, a lot of the time i even go out of my way and it is never correct for them. anyways i feel they should be collecting hours on this empty computer we have. ive suggested it multiple times for situations like this but no lol.
TLDR: Im sick as a dog and my bosses want me to come in and turn hours in even though my coworker agreed to do it. (neither of us are HR. She is the accountant, I am admin/titleclerk)
