I have another round of Covid and so does my 17 year old. As of 5am, we have both been up all night coughing with headaches and I may have gotten about 3 hours of sleep.
She didn't sleep and coughed all night.
However, she is required to log in to school remotely and do all of her class work. Her temperature is 102. She doesn't feel well and it's apparent she needs rest.
My fever is 103.1 I was told last night by my boss that I need to work remotely today. How the hell am I supposed to concentrate when I am taking care of a sick child who needs rest but is forced to learn and also how am I supposed to concentrate with a crushing migraine?
This is the new American way people. No rest and no sick days off.
