My former good boss was open to the idea of me talking to her boss if I felt that my boss wasn’t doing her job well. This lady was one of the best supervisors. She wasn’t scared of me talking to her boss because she knows that she’s a healthy person.
My current boss does not allow me to talk to anyone, not even small talks. If she found out from another person about a personal fact about me (that I went to a concert because I shared it with them in the hallway), she would get mad that I was talking to people. This is the most toxic boss I have ever had.
